    1. Roger, I am also starting a cooperative and have some questions. I started a cooperative in Hawaii, and I have the paperwork. I just want a little direction on who to contact and where to go to present the papers.
I can figure it out by myself though. It might be better if we worked together to figure out how to start a coop.

      1. Hi there,

I am very sorry for the delay but we are just getting started and it’s all a voluntary effort. We will keep you posted about the developments of our initiative. While this upcoming event might not be about the exact cooperative that you want to create but it’s an event around cooperatives and those seem rare in AZ so you might want to attend:

We hope that you will join us for the agricultural cooperatives training we have scheduled for Thursday, June 19 from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension. The training will be led by Luis Sierra from the California Center for Cooperatives Development.
        Topics to be covered:
        • Cooperatives as a distinct form of business
        • Steps to starting a cooperative
        • Guidelines for working with potential cooperatives
        • Resources available to support cooperative development
